About Gary Yarrington:
Gary Yarrington studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and
received B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees with a sculpture major from the Kansas City Art Institute.
Yarrington’s work has been chosen for four National Sculpture Society juried exhibitions—
The Dance (1998), Stallions, Ponies and Unicorns (2004), and the Annual Awards Exhibition
(2004 & 2008). He has also shown with the American Academy of Equine Art (2005-2009), the
Annual Loveland (Colorado) Sculpture Invitational Show & Sale (2005), and Loveland’s Annual
Sculpture in the Park juried show and sale (2007 & 2009). Other shows have included the
Texas Society of Sculptors in Austin and the Sculptors Dominion International exhibition in
San Antonio, Texas.
Yarrington’s work is represented in the permanent collections of the Lyndon Baines
Johnson Library, Austin’s Headliners Club, the Harry S. Truman Library, and the Davenport
(Iowa) Municipal Art Gallery. His work is in private collections in the United States (Austin
and San Antonio, Texas; Davenport, Iowa; Denver, Colorado; Evansville, Indiana; Kansas City,
Missouri; Moline, Illinois; New York City; and Topeka, Kansas), as well as in Ciudad Juárez,
Mexico and London, England.

Current and Upcoming Exhibitions:
Mr. Yarrington's sculpture and drawings are currently featured
in a two-person exhibit at Brocca Gallery, in Austin, Texas.
His sculpture will appear in the American Academy of Equine
Art's Fall Open Juried Exhibition at the International Museum of
the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, KY, opening
on September 26, 2009.
Through August, 2009, he is included in an exhibition
sponsored by the Texas Society of Sculptors in Georgetown,
Texas.
Recent Exhibitions:
Eight of Mr. Yarrington's pieces appeared in Loveland,
Colorado, at the Sculpture in the Park exhibition, August 6-9.
